those 9200 were a really nice shotgun, i owned several of them, never had a complaint, the 930 is very nice as well ,

Had one of my XDm 5.25's worked over by Springer Precision and it now awaits arrival of my new Leopold Deltapoint sight. Now has Bar Sto match barrel, solid stainless guide rod, trigger job (3.5#), extended mag release, aggressive stippling, new front sight and the base for the soon-to-arrive Leopold Deltapoint.

Not sure on the legal part. But I don't think I'd feel comfortable with my weak hand out ahead of the muzzle.

My XDM 3.8 with Powder River Drop in Trigger Kit and X-Treme Grips. Now that I have settled on the Back-strap I will add the grips there and thump area. Finished with pinkie extension on mag.
