I have also used Tula ammo in most of my guns, and I agree with SHOOTER13, not accurate an dirty dirty. Never noticed any chamber damage/scratches caused by the steel casing.

Hmmm.... Since I clean my gun after each range visit, I can probably live with dirty. As long as the steel casing doesn't screw up the gun internally. The steel must be a bit harder on parts like the feed ramp, the extractor and the ejector. Guess I'll have to try a box or two and see how it goes.

I'm hardheaded after the '08 election, if my rifle or pistols DON'T run with steel cased ammo they 1) go to a smith 2) get sold/traded. Now is a good time to see what your firearm can do under ammo shortages, heck my AR-15 loves Silver Bear 62gr ammo. XDm/BHP & 1911 run fine with it as well.

Steel cases are not as bad as people might think...even some major manufacturers

like Hornady are pairing match bullets with steel cases. Check it...

No crystal ball, been there done that Obama has gone from gun salesman of the year honors to salesman of the decade. He's making "Slick Willy" look bad back in '94.

I broke in my XD40 pistol when I first bought it with Silver Bear Ammo (Steel case) Russian made ammo. Not one FTF or any other Mafunctions with this ammo at all.and no damage to the XD gun also.

I have 7.62x39 brass, they have berdane primers. I have been able to remove the primers from most of them and was wondering if there is a problem with reloading them.
