I had my last cigarette on April 29th. used the nicotine lozenges and I could not believe that it wasn't that bad. I tried many other times and usually started back up after a couple of weeks. I have 3 other friend that have quit using the lozenges since then all with good luck. They said if I could do it so could they. I was a 3 pack a day smoker and had been smoking for 40 years.

I was back at 2 packs a day. I was starting to cough up blood again and I'm happy I've quit, but I very much miss it. Especially when the kid is screaming at 3am.

Coughing up blood seems like a pretty good reason to quit! Hang in there!

Well it was traces of blood, it was the reason I switched to filters oh so long ago.

I'm getting cravings, but they are event related.

Last Friday was my last cigarette as well, wife bought me a E-GO (electronic cigarette) and so far so good! I get the nicotine without the bad side affects and haven't climbed the walls or try to strangle anyone at work YET!
