I've got two of these extended grip mags, got them on sale from Springfield. They work great and add stability when shooting the XDS. I also invested in a couple of Pearce grip extensions for my two 5 rd mags. That helped a lot too.

I bought 2 of the 7 round mags as soon as I got my XDs and ordered them directly from Springfield and got them within 7 days.
