    I have an an xds 45 that i have put 200 rds thru and then cleaned very well. The problem is the
    slide lock is still so stiff I can barely move it, my wife cant. Im supposed to pick up her xd

I installed a slide lock/release from the XD Guys that helps reduce the effort a bit. It is a little bit longer and has an aggressively grooved shape gives my thumb a better purchase on the lever. You might try one. I installed it
myself in a few minutes. It can be found here:
