negative - Summary Texas is not a traditional open carry state. They also do not allow open carry, or even printing, by those who have a concealed carry permit.

People are now touting Arkansas as Open Carry due to wording of our amended law. We've been having "open carry rallies" all across the state without one incident. Law Enforcement kept well informed and may be present but no issues. No issues with "printing" here. Just has to be concealed.
Issue with the open carry thing here is that it hasn't been tested in courts but several DA report they won't prosecute anyone open carrying in a responsible manner.
I wish we were a Stand Your Ground state. WHEN/IF properly interpreted and applied, it is a great law.
