Agreed! Given the times we now live in, unarmed military personnel who are adequately trained(ie: combat M.O.S. "at least") is a huge mistake!

The names of those we lost:

Marine Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Sullivan of Hampden, Massachusetts, who served two tours of duty in Iraq and received a Purple Heart;

U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Squire “Skip” Wells of Cobb, Georgia, who joined the military to follow in his mother’s footsteps;

Marine Staff Sgt. David Wyatt, recently of Hixson, Tennessee, who grew up in Ozark and Russellville, Arkansas;

Marine Sgt. Carson Holmquist, a fellow Wisconsinite who relocated to North Carolina; and

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Randall Smith who grew up in Paulding County, Ohio, and joined the service after attending college in the state.
