I've found that JAGS with patches work much better for me than patches stuck into an oblong patch holder.

Boresnakes are great for FAST cleaning but the snakes themselves need cleaning. I clean mine at a laundry mat so that I don't get in trouble at home.

Q-tips help a lot, and that creates a use for Q-tips since the box warns against putting them in one's ears.
