I am reloading 115g round nose lead(9mm) in a Lee Pro 1000. The loaded rounds will not go completely into battery. I have checked everything multiple times and it has me stumped. They work fine in my Sig 226. Is the XD a picky eater?

Did you ever get this resolved?

The only ammo issue I've ever experienced with my XD Mod.2 Subcompact 9mm was that I cannot use aluminum or steel cartridges. They swell up in the chamber and won't eject. Brass and nickel casings cycle smoothly.
In this way, I would say, Yes, the XD only likes the good stuff! lol

No. I gave up on rnl when I found 115g fmj for $0.07 a piece. Rnl was $0.05 and a lot dirtier.
