As much as I believe in 2A there has to be a better way. Common sense would tell you whether or not something is a good idea or not

Here is my take... Yes we have rights, yes its legal to do so. I have guns for several purposes, I carry a gun for one, personal defense. Now I'm not saying that there would never be a situation where I would carry a long gun for defense, but that time has yet to occur. The people who do this at Starbucks, Chipotle, or Jack in the Box or wherever don't carry for defense, they carry to display their rights, as a political tool. I'm not saying its 100% wrong, but I am saying that many times, people carrying as a political statement, instead of self defense, hurts the rest of us who carry all the time for defense.
