Congrates keep it that way one day to a time. It is not easy but it can be done. I started in 1968 and quit 12 years 10 months 27 days ago.

The only problem i had when i quit was i had the munchies all the time. Sort of like back in the 60's when ( oops so i have been told ) smoking pot. :D I think i remember the 60's

I had my last cigarette on April 29th. used the nicotine lozenges and I could not believe that it wasn't that bad. I tried many other times and usually started back up after a couple of weeks. I have 3 other friend that have quit using the lozenges since then all with good luck. They said if I could do it so could they. I was a 3 pack a day smoker and had been smoking for 40 years.

Coughing up blood seems like a pretty good reason to quit! Hang in there!

Last Friday was my last cigarette as well, wife bought me a E-GO (electronic cigarette) and so far so good! I get the nicotine without the bad side affects and haven't climbed the walls or try to strangle anyone at work YET!
