Considering an ankle holster for my XDs. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have an Uncle Mike's ankle holster for a PPKs that I have been happy with. But before I purchase one for my XDs I thought I would check here first.

Have never used such a holster so I can be of no help.

Perhaps someone else has experience with ankle holsters and will chime in.

DeSantis makes one but with the size of the XDs pistol, to me it would be like taping a brick to your ankle.

I carried a Colt Mustang 380 in a ankle holster during my LEO days. It was very uncomfortable to say the least.

Yea...not a big fan of ankle carry...unless seated in my Jeep.

I may rethink this. I've carried a PPKs in an Uncle Mike's ankle holster and found it comfortable. The PPK is a little heavy. But the XDs may be a little large for ankle carry.

IWB holster would be a good choice for the XDs 9 mike mike.
