I also much prefer 45 ACP over 9 mm, but I am only a couple years younger than Rob Leatham, and he now leans toward 9 mm, at his age.

I have no problem handling a 45 ACP or 45 Colt, right now; in fact I love shooting .454 Casull, but I bought this 9 mm with the future in mind.

I know lots of guys in their 60s and 70s who shoot larger caliber handguns, and if I want to do that, I have that covered. However, the day may come when bigger calibers hurt my wrists, and this 9 mm is intended to serve as a plinking gun for years to come.
