Suppose to come out this month (Nov) and I hope they offer the new "green" version.
Thinking about getting one for yourself three...?!
I have the CT on three of my handguns, Red on a LCP, LCR and a green on MY XD40. All have been flawless and have free lifetime battery replacements.
Don't think so as I would have to buy another holster (2) already.
I have a CT on my Elsie Pea and Glock 36 so I'm well lasered.
Almost forgot, my Smith and Wesson 642 came with crimson trace also.
Nothing quite like a CT and +P.
Just got this Crimson Trace email...
Alright, now you just need to get your XDs, order the CT and give us a report.
Yup...probably won't get it till after tax season....
that is what I usually do with my half of the split !!
I have CT grips on my Kimber and really like it them. How does the Laserguard feel on the small guns like the LCP? There isn't much grip to hang on to and it looks like the activation button under your middle finger might feel funny.
I'm thinking about getting them for my XDS and M&P Shield.
I'll let Chuck speak for his but on mine I have the pinky extension on the Elsie Pea and that second finger fits right on the button.
Just got the Crimson Trace put on my XD40, figured I would give you guys a pic..
How does that model CT turn on and off ?
The little shoe shaped button is on both sides you basically just tap it.
Haven't seen one in that configuration before, thanks.
NP, it's actually quite nice and the adjustments on it were a breeze... Good thing about this one is it will fit on my service model and my compact...
I finally got around to getting pictures of my XDs with the Crimson Trace Laser Guard installed. I havent shot it yet with it installed, but from handling it, it not intrusive like some are. The activation swith is on the front strap, so when you grip the pistol, the laser comes on. It is light weight and adds hardly nothing to the weight of the pistol. The only thing I found I don't like about it is that it has no exterior on/off switch like my Crimson Trace Laser Grips have. Now I have to search for a holster of some sort, just in case Illinois passes some type of concealed carry.
Sorry the pics are not very good, I took them with the camera in my cell phone.
FYI - I have the same version of the XD 45 and I used insert #2 for mounting.
