My father , Uncle and mom - rushing the jungles to the refugee Navy ship
My Mom would pray that I did not cry and give our position away .

I did not - My uncle would tell me they would huddle around me (10 months) and any milk or rice would go to me until we made it to Guam

Family's that were not as fortunate and baby's would pass .. had to be thrown in the ocean -due to disease .

I am proud to be a United States Citizen and those who Burn our Precious Flag - they will meet there Maker

Glad you made it out.
I was in Saigon on two different occasions in 67/68 and it truly was "The Pearl of the Orient"
