I've flown stunt kites at Washington Monument and around the US at various places. I have several 2-line like those as well as 4-line acrobatic kites. It's relaxing and lots of fun when too windy to shoot.
Fascinated with Kites
When I was a kid I was fascinated with kites and built/bought hundreds, but nothing like this guy flies.

I always liked them, and still enjoy flying them. It's still pretty popular at places like Pismo Beach, they have Kiteboarding competitions there too.
I fly a kite everytime I go to the beach...use it to mark my territory
and keep an eye on my stuff while I sit at the barefoot bar sippin' a beer !!
