i love shooting big stuff but man i would be lost without my rimfire collection. top:gsg 1911. with accessories from cw accessories. middle: savage mk2 bottom: smith and wesson m&p 15-22
How do you like your GSG 1911. I looked at one at the LGS and liked the feel and the price, but don't know much about them. Are they ammo sensitive? Accurate? Reliable?
I've been looking at the new .22's made by Umarex USA... they have Colt M4's and 1911's....H&K MP5's...IWI Uzi's... http://www.colt22rimfire.com/index.php?page=rifles
Jump on one or two. I have an H&K MP5A5 and Sig Sauer 522. Lots of fun to shoot and ammo is reasonable.
Here are a few of the rimfires I've had. This is my rimfire rifle wall. The black one is a Colt. The rimfires and centerfires are mixed on this wall. 1st vertical row and 3rd are the rimfires. 4 Aces S&W Ruger single six Daisy no, not a air rifle.
I've got about 250 rds thru it with no problems and it's pretty accurate as it has a match grade barrel and shoots pretty good groups out to 75-100 yards. It really likes Stingers and Mini Mag 22 rds.
hey tango. does it run well with the federal bulk pack that i love so much. i use that in everything. even in that nice savage bolt action i have up there. and it is dead nuts accurate ammo to. i now some guns like the sig mosquito need minimags to function. which i find strange because the cci and the bulk stuff have the same specs. dont get that one. how about that h&k.
Here's three of mine. A Browning 5.5, High Standard Longhorn Double-Nine Convertible, and a new model Ruger Single-Six convertible.
Haven't tried the Federal but other than the ones I mentioned previously it likes Remington Golden bullet.
