We talk about the land of fruits and nuts, but the beauty here is second to none. Went out to sea on a yacht today to spread the ashes of a WWII B-17 and B-29 pilot and war hero, who passed away peacefully at the age of 96. We were in Newport Beach, California.

Been to Cali quite a few times for the job...and it IS the land of NUTZ and FRUITZ ( of all colors, shapes and sizes ). San Francisco comes to mind.

Also worked and visited Los Angeles ( Hollywood ), Venice Beach, Monterey and Carmel by the Sea, Big Sur, San Diego ( La Jolla-Torrey Pines ), San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno...Eureka up north. Death Valley and the Mojave Desert.

Love the state...Hate the politics !!
