Hi, I am from Battle Creek Mi. I am not new to guns, been around them my whole life. I am new to ccw though. I just recently took my class and am now just waiting for my permit to arrive in the mail. I have been searching for a conceal gun. I do not have an XD at the moment. But, I have been renting several guns and I really like the Mod 2 and second is the XDS. So, I plan to pick one of these up in the very near future.

Hey jagxl1, welcome to the forum, glad to have you with us. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with either one. The slimmer profile of the XDs definitely makes it an excellent choice for various concealed carry scenarios.
