This would actually be my first gun purchase. I plan on getting concealed handgun license soon after though.

Looking to pick up my own XD in about two weeks. Still having an internal debate between the XD9 and XD40. Hopefully I can make up my decision soon.

I had the opportunity to shoot a good amount of guns at a gathering a friend of mine had. I didn't the like feel of the glock 43 a little to much kick and I didn't like the size or the 6 mag capacity.
I also shot the XD40 which I really liked and was able to group all the rounds pretty consistently. I did notice a lot of time between shots though. Not sure if that was the gun or just my inexperience.
