Help me decide next purchase

I really got lucky this Christmas! Gift cards for my favorite local gun shop, cash...needles to say, first day off I'm heading down to look around. I recently got my first XD a mod 2 9mm subcompact (I posted a thread-"former Glock snob). Now I can't decide what to get. A mod 2 service to go with my subcompact? I'm open to suggestions! Thanks. I hope everyone had a great holiday.

Sounds like you did get lucky.
If you want to stay with Springfield take a look at the XD-S in 45 or 9mm since you have a 9.Or maybe look at the Springfield Range Officer Compact, a good carry 1911 style.
I'm sure other members will chime in on some ways to spend your money.

You can't go wrong with a Springer, period! That said, a Mod.2 service model would be pretty nice... :metal2:

It does seem pretty nice. Right now I carry the mod 2 subcompact off duty. I have it narrowed down to the service model, a spare subcompact, or the XDS 9mm.

The XDs9 would also be a great choice. It's hard to beat a slim 9. I went with the XDs9 early on. Excellent firearm, but I struggled with the aggressive grip texture. Others here like 3T have no issue with it at all. Definitely worth checking out!
