This seems like a great accessory. Though I am skeptical to start changing out internal parts of my gun. The price is not something that I'm willing to toss around, but I'm interested. Personally I think the Crimson trace does a super job without any changes.

Works great on my M&P9. Easy to swap out with the original guide rod and works as advertised. Can't adjust it though.

used one in a 4in 45 acp compact , and I used one in a 3in sub compact , liked them both , only one thing I noticed while using it to target shoot, it will smudge up using lead cast bullets, I always pulled it out if I was going to shoot a lot, one to save wear and tear on them , and easier to clean the gun afterwards
