Plenty of the brands for civilian use are available at Academy, Palmetto Armory and The FN Outlet in Columbia S.C. The FN outlet had plenty of rds on hand, especially the 27gr type which the salesman there liked better than the 40 gr. Had them on sale at $21 a box of 50 so I got a case of 500.

27 gr hollow point, check out that muzzle velocity.

Mfg Item Number:

SS195LF
Category:
AMMO CENTERFIRE
Caliber:
FN 5.7 x 28mm
Bullet Type:
Hollow Point
Bullet Weight:
27 Grain
Muzzle Energy:
ft lbs
Muzzle Velocity:
2150 fps
Rounds Per Box:
50 Round Box / 10 Boxes per Case

I'd like to legally have some tracer rounds.

Shot 5 rds the day I got it, felt like shooting a 22 longrifle rd.
No muzzle movement.

You had a .223 pistol or rifle or a FN Five SeveN ?

.223 T/C Contender pistol, then traded the barrel for a .223 rifle barrel. Have had the .35 Rem. Pistol barrel for it since I got it around 15 years ago. Love shooting it but took me a long time to get use to the recoil. Still makes me tense the first shot if I haven't shot it in awhile

Those T/CC's are versatile weapons.

Another feature I like about the FN FiveseveN is the weight.

1.3 lbs empty

1.6 lbs loaded

It has roughly 30 percent less recoil than a 9×19mm pistol, improving controlability.

I throw left, bat right.

Shoot with both but more proficient left handed and better with pistol RH than a rifle. Talk about confusing.
