Where was everyone when the attacks happened?

Working...a TV was on in a break room, and someone yelled out that a plane had struck one of the towers.

As we watched in horror...talking about how stupid could a pilot be to hit something that big...the 2nd plane came

roaring in and hit the second tower. Right then, we KNEW America was under attack...and then a meeting was called

to assign our departmental duties for that day...I'll never forget it !!

I was asleep for the first, in time to watch the second in my hazy state.

I worked night in a kitchen. My friend the day manager called me after the first hit. I sat in confusion wondering how a pilot could have gotten it that wrong when the second plane hit. I went from still asleep to wide awake in a few minutes.

I was working on a DOD base. I worked for a General Contractor. I was on base till past 8 pm. The company I worked for had to help move all the concrete barricades and build temp structures.

I was at work,,,and when someone yelled across the shop that a plane hit the tower,,i was LIKE YA RIGHT,,WHATEVER,,,then reality hit... very sad day. Then the continual attacks,,still hard to believe even after all these years.

Came in to work 15 min. early, stepped into the hotel lobby at the time the news flash started about a plane hitting the first tower. The activities of our hotel immediately went to asking about how this effected our guests etc. The TV did not get turned off or channel changed until around midnight.

Was at a client's office... We spent the rest of the day watching a small TV on the sill of his office window
