Long time shooter new to XD forums. I had a full size .45 and traded it away. Sorry turn of events. Now I'm back with a XD compact .45 in FDE an recent purchase of a XD 9mm sub C.
Going to change the trigger group for Powder River Precision internals to improve take-up and over-travel

thanks everyone.
buggered an xd today fitting a powder river trigger group. cannot release the trigger so i cant get the slide off. filed the over-travel bump down a lot still won't release.sent to Springfield for a RMA number. I'll let them deal with it. after 50 years the law of averages caught up with me. nuts

Like your honesty , let us know about the customer service from Springfield.
I have had good luck with them.

Got my RMA and return prepaid postage.mailed FED EX on 10/1
I waited a week because I thought they were sending me something
All done by email in an hour. Now I wait 2-3 weeks. So I'll go hunting while I wait
