I'm also left handed and you don't have to wait on Springfield if you want a good, not too expensive and comfortable IWB holster.
Mine is a "Talon" and I've had it about a year now.

I just meant as an option for the one included in the package.
I use a hybrid style IWB from everydayholsters.com. I have one for each of my carry pistols
