New xd's

Picked up our new xd's today. Xds 9 mm 3.3 on the right for the mrs. And the new mod. 2 40 cal for me. Put a few rounds through them. Cant say anything bad about them. Now i just have to find good holsters for them.

You looking for an IWB or OWB holster ?

I am looking for IWB. I have a Bianchi leather OWB for my Ruger P 90 amd have never had an issue with it so I want to look at those for OWB. I have never really needed an IWB until now. The P 90 is too hard to carry. Its a tank.

Not real expansive and mine is very comfortable.

Might take a look at Davis Holsters. I have an IWB for my XDs and love it.

Thats cool. I have never tried to do anything with kydex. i wouldnt know where to start.

So what does it take to make your own? Cost comparison? Time? I'm sure I could figure it out. Is it any more comfortable than a traditional iwb holster?

Believe me, it's less expensive to just buy a holster, then to buy everything needed to build your own. After building a vacuum former it's now a simple process.
