Ordered my Mod 2 sub compact FDE 9mm today. I ordered it from Grab a Gun and said I would pick it up at their store since I am only about 25 miles away. They will probably email me tomorrow to come get it.

I also ordered extra mags, both a 13 and a 16 round mag.

Pumped.....excited......ready to go shooting.

I noticed that the extra 16 round mag I bought has a black spacer at the bottom instead of the FDE like the one that came with the gun. Can a FDE spacer be purchased? Anyone know?

Not a big deal though.

I hope to take it shooting either tomorrow or Sunday.

It is not that exact color as I had to lighten the pict a bit so it would show up in the picture better.

It IS a pretty gun, if I do say so myself.

Contact Springfield and they will probably swap spacers with you. Congratulations on the new mod 2.

I'm guessing they'll probably just send you one. Might ask you for the serial number, so maybe have that handy when you call.

Youre going to love shooting it. I took mine to the range for the first time last week. It shot a very nice group. I couldn't be happier with it.
