Got a call this morning that my XDs had arrived.

What is the orange tool for?

It's a chamber flag. Insert it into the chamber and it signals that there is not a round in the chamber.

that thing is seriously small. it looks like it would suck to shoot. a 45 acp with a 2 finger grip. i dont know. might keep my .38 when i need small. but still a nice rig never the less.

also how is the reliability with it. from what i have learned from reading the publications some small .45s have cycling issues at times.

Grip extension are reasonably priced.
Haven't had time to shoot mine yet but as far as shooting it, for an example.

"Talon" IWB holster arrived and I put some leather dressing on it and shot this. Good weapon fit and holds close to the body.

How do you like the talon holster??

Haven't had much opportunity to use it since the recall on the XDs but so far it's very comfortable.
