I've been thinking about adding a red dot sight to my new mod2 subcompact. I'm sure I would have to mill the slide. Not certain how much material can be removed in that area because of the channel for the firing pin. Ideally I'd like to mill for an RMR and mill a dovetail right in front of the RDS so I can still cowitness. Anyone know if this is possible? Or know of anyone that can do it?

Answered my own question. These guys sell machined slides. You can have one cut to accept an RDS. That way you can sell the pistol without having to permanently alter the original slide.
