I live in Oklahoma. We passed OC last March, but it went into effect Nov 1 2012 to give the LEOs time to develop appropriate ways to handle interactions with OC citizens. I've been carrying OC since November. I almost never see anyone else OC (except LEOs of course).

I think one of the biggest benefits in passing OC is that it naturally reduces the "no printing" aspect of CC. You don't want to advertise anyway if you CC. But if you do print a little, some CC laws would allow a LEO to stop you.

Pennsylvania has always been an Open Carry State...in every city except Philadelphia.

In Philly...you must have a LTCF ( License To Carry Firearm ) to be allowed to Open Carry.

( which...btw...is against the PA Constitution...and is being challenged in the courts now !! )
