Shorty,

Sorry! I had not thought to check back on this thread since I posted.

For me, the Kangaroo Carry holster is not as easy to draw from as an inside the waistband holster, but it very useable, and like anything it gets much better with practice. I use this primarily when I want deep concealment, and NOBODY to know I have a firearm. It is really a nice design. I hope to never, never need to draw it to protect anyone, but am confident it will do the job well if the need ever arises.

I just bought mine last Fall, so have experienced it in higher temps, but I suspect it will be a little hot. The days I need it, though, I'll be wiling to put up with that, I think.

Good luck in your search!

Have you thought about the 5.11 shirts? I carry my xds 45 in one and can get a full range of motion w/o it shifting. There's room in the pocket for my xdc 45 but because of the weight, you'll feel it bounce and move.

I wear shorts from the time of the last freeze here in Georgia till the Fall when it starts getting cold again. Most shorts that I wear are the short fatigue style with the cargo pockets and belt loops. I like most here have many more holsters than handguns from buying different ones trying to find that final one that serves as it should and as advertised. I came across an ad for the Crossbreed holsters and liking the reviews from other customers I decided to go ahead and give them a try. I am so glad I did as this is truly the last holster I will need to buy for my XDs in .45acp. It is the IWB style by Crossbreed and it is the most comfortable holster that I have found that actually is as advertised. In only a few minutes after putting on my shorts with the 2 inch wide belt I also bought from Crossbreed to use with the holster I forget I am wearing my handgun as this holster is truly as advertised and is both very comfortable and easy to get to and draw my handgun should the need arise. There web address is www.crossbreedholsters.com and I suggest you give them a look as they have many different styles and most likely will have one that will fit your need. They are priced fairly and your own holster is not made until you place your order. their customer service is top notch as well should you have any questions.

Glad it works for you and let us know later in the summer when it gets hot down in Jawja. I'm a UGA alum.
It's fine for us in the cooler months and wears well and is sturdy.

Wife and I both have a IWB Crossbreed "Supertuck" but we don't much care for that much leather next to the skin and since we neither wear t shirts in-between the holster and another shirt as it gets too warm in the summer.

Personally prefer something like this Talon and you can see I'm a lefty.

I have found a liking to the factory paddle holster my .45 acp and both 9 mm came with for side carrying. They seem to cover many concerns others leave out. For under arm I did take a liking to the Galco formed leather for my XDM 9 mm with the 3.8 barrel. The under arm shoulder holster offers a dual mag holder to accommodate the compact mags.
