Must be new gun time from seeing those that just bought new ones.
Picked this up this morning.
It's in .223 or 5.56 and comes with 2-30 rd mags.
I just put 2 coats of red mahogany stain and it's still drying.
Can't wait to unleash the beast.

Mahogany stain is still a bit tacky but here it is without the tape.

It was a plain unfinished light brown.

Did a fade on it to give a more natural look.
Still not finished with the forearm yet, just gives me something to work with.

Looks like yours has a different magazine well than shown in the video. Does it take standard AR-15 magazines or some exotic magazine?

That's a Tapco and according to the front page of the owners manual it will accept any standard M16 mag.

I probably won't need any more than the 2 supplied.

Bought a 30 rd P mag at Palmetto Armory today and it fits perfect in the 85, actually locks in and releases better than the 2 Tapco's that came with it.
Gonna get 2 more next visit after saying the originals were enough.
