Yep that's right it's a pistol and accepts all AR mags and fires the 5.56 NATO round.
On my wish list along with a Sig P320 as soon as they add the 45 to the 9mm, 357, 40 cal changeable (modular) barrel options.

Thanks, Sig for years has made quality guns.
Now they aren't cheap but are well constructed.
If and when I purchase another gun it will most likely be a Sig 320 or Springer Range Officer compact.
On a side note this afternoon while in Books a Million I read a magazine article singing the praises of the Glock 36 45 cal. stating it was underrated as a concealed weapon.
