Yep, got 4 of those, well 2 long and 2 Katana's.+ 1 one of unknown origin.
When I was doing Customs in Camp Zama Japan an old lady, had to be 90 gave me the blade part of a Katana and she said it belong to her father and she was moving and didn't want to take it to the care home she was going to..
Wel; I took it to one of the guys that collects them and he offered $ 250 for it and I said no.
Some time I will get it appraised by a pro.
It also has Japanese writing on it.
