Hey 3T, there's something wrong with that holster. The thumb tab is on the wrong side:cheesy::cheesy:

Nice one TinMan. My LGS has a couple of those and the Taurus as well. The owner's a good buddy. Almost always handle them every time I float through there.

Not to change the subject (or hijack the thread), he's got a Para hammer-less .45 doublestack I can't help but pick up EVERY TIME I stop through. I'm on the slight side with small hands. That's the only reason I haven't walked out with it... yet...

I'm actually off tomorrow. Headed down to Dade to check out a XDm9C that's for sale on the other forum. If I have time after that I'll swing by the LGS and take a pic of that Para (I'm assuming that's what you're ranting about lol:D).

Y'know it's funny. I remember not too long ago, Shooter welcoming me to the forum, and talking about what XD's I had. How things have changed... My brother-in-law (her little brother) hounded me long enough to finally make me give him my XD9 Service just to make him GO AWAY! And somewhere along the way, my XD9SC became my son's. I'm still trying to figure out "where was I when that happened". Hence the reason I'm thinking to pick up that XDm9C.

I"ll start a new thread tomorrow to follow up. Apologies to 3T for going so far off-topic...

darn .. i know nothing about them .. but they do look sweet
Yeah, like I said, it was really cool. The LGS owner is a buddy of mine, and he offered to let me take it to the range a few times to try it out (some friends you just can't live without) but my dumb-ass never took him up on it, (I have on plenty of others though). Truth is if I took it to the range I probably would've bought it. And because it's SO big in my small hands I would never have use it (or next to never). So that was a lot of money to tie up in a gun that would just sit. Apart from a couple of guns that were my dad's, I'm not that kind of collector. When/if I ever get another .45 it will probably be a Champion Operator. That's the only 1911 I've ever owned that I can honestly say I wish I still had. I guess it's not much of an issue to me because I have my EMP .40, (I'm going to my grave with that one, although my son keeps telling me "good luck, you'll be dead, that'll never happen").

Meanwhile, my LGS buddy's got a Ruger SP101 .357 5-shot that's been "calling my name" lately, so stay tuned...
