2.5 inch:shooting:Awesome flame thrower...is that a 3" barrel !?
Yep, learned my shooting from "Billy the Kid" . :tiphat:Hey 3T, there's something wrong with that holster. The thumb tab is on the wrong side:cheesy::cheesy:
Those Governors are a powerful handgun also.:machinegun
Think I will hang on to the Alaskan since I have a Taurus Judge Public Defender already.trade? :spot:
PIC PIC PIC PIC !!!Nice one TinMan. My LGS has a couple of those and the Taurus as well. The owner's a good buddy. Almost always handle them every time I float through there.
Not to change the subject (or hijack the thread), he's got a Para hammer-less .45 doublestack I can't help but pick up EVERY TIME I stop through. I'm on the slight side with small hand. That's the only reason I haven't walked out with it... yet...
darn .. i know nothing about them .. but they do look sweetSorry Tinman, they sold the Para this past Saturday...

Yeah, like I said, it was really cool. The LGS owner is a buddy of mine, and he offered to let me take it to the range a few times to try it out (some friends you just can't live without) but my dumb-ass never took him up on it, (I have on plenty of others though). Truth is if I took it to the range I probably would've bought it. And because it's SO big in my small hands I would never have use it (or next to never). So that was a lot of money to tie up in a gun that would just sit. Apart from a couple of guns that were my dad's, I'm not that kind of collector. When/if I ever get another .45 it will probably be a Champion Operator. That's the only 1911 I've ever owned that I can honestly say I wish I still had. I guess it's not much of an issue to me because I have my EMP .40, (I'm going to my grave with that one, although my son keeps telling me "good luck, you'll be dead, that'll never happen").darn .. i know nothing about them .. but they do look sweet
