Thanks for the add. Just wanted to see what is available for an in vehicle holster mount set up for the standard XD 4in. Gum Creek has one but a friend told me it does not stay tight. Always hangs down and hits his knee on it getting in and out. Then there is the magnets. Not too sure about them either.

Have you considered the vehicle mount in Aliengear's ShapeShift line?

I have a Stinger Gun Magnet Holder w/Safety Trigger Guard Protection that I purchased on Amazon. It is the best magnetic mount I have ever used and fits well below the steering column in my Wrangler. When I enter the Jeep I can take my pistol out of the holster and put it in the mount for easy access.

BTW it fits a variety of pistols and revolvers and the magnet is very strong and holds more than 15 lb and is well padded with a rubber coating.
