Which brand, load, and caliber do you use in your Bersa for Every Day Carry...!? I own a Glock 30SF and when I carry it concealed for self protection I use the Hornady Critical Defense 185 grain FTX...in .45 ACP of course.
Hornady 180gr XTP in my .40 Federal 135gr Hydra-Shok JHP in my 9mm Winchester 230gr JHP PDX1 Defender in my .45s My EDC is my new XDs .45.
9mm Luger Plus P 115gr CORBON Self-Defense JHP. Higher velocity round, which is a must for the sub compacts.
It depends on the gun I'm carrying. I've been using Hornady Critical Duty in my XDm .40. I use the short barrel Speer Gold Dot in one .45 and the regular Gold Dot in another.
Federal 135gr Hydra-Shok JHP in my 9MM and .40 cal Primary EDC is a XD40 SC, my sometimes carry; S&W M&P 9MM & .40.
Hornady Critical Defense in my 9mm. (See my sig for an article on setback (or lack of it) with this ammo.) Federal Hydra-Shok in my 45ACP. (Plan to do a setback test on this too.)
I believe Hornady Critical Defense ammunition states their bullets are cannelured and crimped to avoid (minimize) setback. One of the reasons I carry HCD and rotate my carry ammo frequently.
Not that i can carry up here (it's funny, i have permits for a few states, but in my home country i can't carry ) but really, any of the modern premium brand hollowpoints would make me feel warm and fuzzy. But if you gave me a handfull of lead semiwadcutters loaded up good and warm, i wouldn't worry about it other then to pay good attention to whatever was behind what i was shooting at. It's 85% where you put it, 15% what you put there. a 32 in the brain beats a 44 mag in the big toe
