Thumbs up to SurlyBob. Excellent points. Everyday I see people doing outrageous things that are against the law. When people decide to commit a criminal act they do not care at all if it is legal or not. Law abiding people by definition follow the law(s), criminals do not! it's about that simple. I do work in an educational facility and believe that more security is needed. What if the dollars spent by irresponsible politicians on lobbying, special interests, and self promonition were spent on making public gathering places such as schools more secure. Maybe paying trained LEOs would help? Just a thought.

What will happen to our beloved xd's if they pass a high capacity ban? Every xd I have seen carries over 10 rounds of ammunition. I fear that these guns will be banned.... Thoughts anyone?

I've never been on Facebook, so I would ask those of you who are ask the Anit gun people 1 simple question. If the AWB passes today, will they & their children be safer tomorrow?
I think most will say YES and only because their POLITICAL point was pushed across, not their physical safety from gun violence. The 20,000+ gun laws currently on the books across the US have done a wonderful job cutting down on crime & violence haven't they.

Good documentary on Utube, Innocents Betrayed/The Truth about Gun Control breaks down and explains the communists agenda with actual historic facts that to many people today are totally unaware about.Just remember that banning ANY weapon is just the beginning. They will start with so called "assault" guns such as AR's and AK's...basically anything they saw in a movie. But if a perp can't get those anymore, they will choose a semi-auto BAR hunting rifle....or semi auto shotgun with sabot slugs....and then we will be looking at a ban of ALL semi-auto guns. After that, some perp will use a pump shotgun to great effect...and they will come after those too. Then one day a perp will use a single shot or double gun to great effect and they will come after those. Just because there was a crime or two committed with guns doesn't make us all criminals who aren't allowed to own guns!!!!! Why are we going to ALLOW THIS??? IT CAN'T BE ALLOWED. The whole gist of this is to take all guns away from the people so we can't defend ourselves...first rule in the communist playbook. THAT is the REAL AGENDA folks. Don't be fooled by the false propaganda of "saving our children". It's a scam..don't fall for it.

Just be prepared for anything during this administration and if nothing happens you still will have a great stock of weapons and ammo for the next round.

The money obviously isn't an issue. They are requesting funding to impliment a national database for the program. And they will also need dedicated locations, equipment and other resources. Well here in NYS our beloved Liberal Anti- Gun Gov.A. Como signed into Law a 10 round Mag Ban down to 7 rounds. We may keep our 10 Mags but can only load them with 7 rounds.? Which does not make a lot of sense to me.? Or anyone else,? Besides the Corrupt Politicians in NYS.
Well I love my XD40 and its hicap magazines. I will never do anything that goes against the 2nd Amendment. I will never give my friends up.
