I'm also a fan of the Break Free CLP and have been using Bore Snake "Venom" as a final wipe down and finish up with a light coat of Birchwood Casey Barricade for rust protection.

You could put it in a smaller container if the size of the bottle is a problem, as a little FL goes a long way.
Not real sure what you mean.
