You should read up on James Files who claims he was on the grassy knoll and he shot Kennedy.

It was one of the Secret Service Agents assigned to protect Kennedy who delivered the fatal head shot with an M16...Oswald only hit Kennedy in the neck.

When the first shots were heard...the SS agent's finger hit the trigger as he was jumping off the agent car following the limo with Kennedy.

I agree, which is why the secret service went to such extreme lengths to cover it up.
