I've got the XD9 mod2 and it is a great gun. For such a short barreled gun, I shoot it really well, recoil is typical 9, meaning very controllable.

I think if I could only have one gun, a do-it-all gun for conceal carry, home defense, & range days - one that's comfortable to shoot and is accurate as hell - the XD9 Mod2 would probably be it. I like it that much.
