Has anyone heard of a date for reals on this? There dosen't seem to be a lot excitement around this gun. I have checked a couple of other sites, and there's very little talk about it on xd talk or FTF . Not sure if its because its in 9 and not 45, or because the recall on the 3.3 has dampened peoples opinion's of Springfield. What's your thoughts on the 4.0 XDS?

Agree there hasn't been much chatter on the net about the XDs9 and about the only comment I remember was why buy a 9 when you can get 45 in the same size.
