Have several boxes of some old Rem. 230 gr. Golden Sabre JHPs. So that is what I put in the 1911s & Ruger KP90. Most of the time I am just shooting hardball for punching paper.

well - for just the range - i like the Monarch brass 18.99 for box 50 - but i will put anything through my babies

I roll my own for my blasting pleasure.

For concealed carry, I like Gold Dots. It gets a little pricey, but I do practice with it every month.

I gave up handloading for the .45 cause I lose all the brass in the field now that I live on a rancho. Been almost 30 years since I had shot at any kind of range with a floor until last year. Got all the time in the world to look for brass cause I am retired. However, gluacoma prevents me from seeing it. Getting kinda hard to shoot now too. Even using scoped rifles. is getting rough. Most of the time I shoot revolvers. I don't have to look for the brass to reload it.
